| General | Gardening, meeting new people, decorating, genealogy, reading, travel and relaxation! I am a volunteer with the local humane society.. I love animals!!! I assist with adoptions and draw their blood for heart worm testing. I finally have the scrapbook room of my dreams!! It is GREAT!! I have discovered life is just too short to worry and work so hard. Life is GREAT! Spending time with my wonderful hubby and just RELAXING is awesome! | | Music | I love almost all music. I start with what I grew up with, Black Sabbath, oh, never forget Lynard Skynard... (who lived not far from me in Jax Fla and actually played for my Jr High school prom), The Eagles, Stones, Mountain, Bad Company, CCR, Golden Earring, ZZ Top, some country, even some current! OH, don't forget DAUGHTRY! OMG, I love his music! AWESOME!
| | Movies | Oh, there are too many to mention! I am so grateful for Netflix!!! I couldn't begin to go out and see all the movies that I want to, so hubby and I have a movie night at least once a week! Sometimes it is a movie marathon weekend! We are trying to catch up with some of the TV shows that are on DVD.... 24 is one! We like almost all kinds of movies... but mainly action packed ones! | | Television | House, Prison Break, Jericho, ER, CSI, Justice, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and almost everything on HGTV.. thank goodnes for our DVR.. there are so many good things to watch! | | Books | Reading is one of my passions! My favs are Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, any medical/crime mystery. I also love self improvement books! We can always improve! | | Heroes | Those who continue to fight for my freedom and those that wear a uniform to keep us safe! |

Hm, where do I start?
I am a transplant to Southwest Ga. I moved here due to my husband being transfered. I have lived in numerous states in the US and I am really not sure which one I like the best. I like Ga.. but goodness it is TOOO HOT!!!
I am employed at a large insurance company as an RN Case Manager and I also teach! My favorite genre in the medical field is pre-hospital care. Well... trauma is my "thing" but I need to settle down a bit, the old bones can't take what they used to! I was a medic/firefighter for 7 years and trust me, that never leaves your soul or your blood. I have also a passion for Gerontology nursing! I also love to teach people how to make new friends and expand on a lifestyle that enables them to fullfill their dreams and have time to have FUN!
OH... for my friends out there... there are only TWO SCHOOLS for football..... NEBRASKA and GEORGIA... and they both bleed RED
