Ketchup Ken is a comedy production company formed to promote the work of two cunts (one big and shaven the other small and hairy) from Essex. The two cunts in question are Stevie Rae and Theo Rowswell.
Currently, Rae & Rowswell are working on their first Edinburgh show, WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS, as well as an as yet unnamed sitcom. Away from their double act, Stevie performs in the comedy improvisation troupe, QUIRKISH DELIGHT whilst Theo fancies himself as an actor/poet/rapper who occasionally puts on the open mic poetry night, VOCAL SCHISM.

HERE'S SOME EDINBURGH REVIEWS:
threeweeks.com:
If you want a funny, zany and downright silly series of sketches, then 'What The World Needs' is your kind of show. Characters Stevie and Theo lead you down two trains of thought; one that feels poetry is the answer to the world's problems; the other doesn't really care. They take in all sorts of topics and concerns, from amateur dramatics to 'Batman', from paedophilia to religion, and even the problem with chavs and emo kids, using some really quite strange videos along the way. This fun fifty minutes pulls out all sorts of random thoughts, making for hilarious watching right up until the suitably oddball ending. The world does need more of this.

From the Metro:
Watching What The World Needs is like peering in on someone else's cheddar-induced dream.
Using a frantic amalgamation of slam poetry, drama and animation, Ketchup Ken – aka Stevie Rae and Theo Rowswell – have created a piece that takes on Wetherspoons pubs, wanking and religion, while rarely pausing for breath.
It borders on brilliance at times; their self-referential swipe at amateur dramatics is spot on, along with a scene that sees Michael Caine's dulcet tones redubbed.
.... it's the performances that really make the show, with both men utterly committed to their furious, witty world.
A healthy three stars from them!
Who I'd like to meet: Ketchup Ken would like to meet compliant commissioning editors and/or venue managers in order to peddle our wares.
Yeah man! Was most excellent seeing you too! I remember our Daft Punk guitar/synth face off and not much else after. It all got a bit drunk and emotional for me after that. :) Scottish tings too! Yo! Hopefully it will be all good man, definately want to come and checkit. We can go for a wee dram after eh no wee man? x
INSATIABLE 4 FILM!!!! the film screening day is booked in a venue called The Ship in Old Leigh (near southend - 40 mins from central london)
If you would like to submit a film or music video please let me know asap, people have been very eager to show their work and there really are limited slots of time. The first screening is 1pm and the last will be 9pm with a band finishing off the night by 10pm.
Should be a great day and lots of opportunities to meet creatives, support our british independent film-makers or just watch some cool movies!!!
There are only 100 tix available. Concessions will be given to cast and crew of submitted films; otherwise its just £5 for the whole day. Thats just to cover the costs basically.
Mr. Rae, you are quite right. The Dixon has an excellent reputation for being a platform for some astounding talent. 1990/1991 being of course the golden years - most notably for the socio-mammal icy death play ‘Whale’. Christ, that was a mighty contribution to the theatrical canon. A veritable whale, if you will, in the dank puddle of Southend activity.
Good to hear you will be turning up slightly less attractive than your normal self. We don’t need any distractions. I’m already beginning to fear the indoor firework display and midget rodeo might put us off our lines somewhat, but what you can you do? Who am I to question the director?
So tell me – “Doing a night up the hen and chickens” - is this some new theatrical movement? I must confess I have been hitherto uninured in this style. I can imagine that while it would no doubt inspire me as to new proxemical possibilities, I would feel a little claustrophobic. I can’t even watch a rom-com up a dog’s arse without coming over a little faint, so I’m not sure I could imbibe your creative wonders up the rectal tract of a hen - or even a chicken for that matter.
