Sounds Like
A lot of people say that Kevens sounds a bit like Sting and Seal mixed up in a rootical reggae way. Over all, his music should be described as; an electic fusion of profound sounds, conscious lyrics, and inventive musical stylings.Incorporating the infectious energy of Jungle and drum and bass with the uplifting vibes of Progressive Reggae Rock.
Known for a unique fusion of reggae, rock,
and lush drum-n-bass with a distinct brand
of performance art, Kevens is on a mission
to bring all races, cultures and creeds
together. At an early age Kevens was
inspired by Cedella Booker: “like a letter,
you must write a song with purpose”. This
spiritual artist emerged with an anthemic
message: “Positivity is a necessity” which
remains at the core of his art and his life.
Kevens has shared stages with a diverse,
genre-busting array of performers including
Carlos Santana, Jimmy Cliff, Steven Tyler,
Third World, Run DMC, Chuck Berry and
Moby.
The NEW Kevens album: “We Are One” will
be released worldwide in January, 2010.
This is R. Bonita P. Fourth Dimension Fan Club President and once again I'd like to say Mahalo! Your performance was outstanding, stage presence enlightening. I sent a pic that I took and at first glance I thought you were floating in the air and I started crying. I had a dream around May of this year about a brown skin dready walking on water. That next day something very grand happened in my life, saw Fourth Dimension again and something clicked. So when I saw you, it summed it up that I was exactly where I was suppose to be in Islamorada. Thank you for giving me hope and inspiration.
Thanks for the link up, Like the music its an excellent blend of different styles and seems to appeal to alot of people. Keep up the hard work! Bless Up
