Music, music, and more music. Beauty of all kinds. Caring for the world and everything in it. Good design. Cats. Sunsets. Math. Female anatomy, including the brain and heart. And music.
Music
Playing: bass guitar, acoustic & electric guitar, Irish bouzouki, a little mandolin, and even less synthesizer.
Listening: King Crimson, Yes, Men Without Hats, The Church (the band), Jethro Tull, King's X, Midnight Oil, Kornog, The Darkness, The Ark, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Mew, Lunasa, Graham Central Station, Television, Van Morrison, Fela Kuti, Robyn Hitchcock, Bach.
Movies
The original Star Wars movies. The Seventh Seal. The Seven Samurai. The Road Warrior. Master & Commander. James Bond (Connery). For a fairly enlightened guy, I do seem to like some typical guy movies. Oh, and Howl's Moving Castle.
Television
Numb3rs (most subtly smart show on TV), House (best actor in all of TV), CSI, NFL football (I know it's a corporate-sponsored testosterone-fest, but I can't help it, I love it without irony), the local access channel (CAT3TV), old MST3Ks (huzzah!).
Books
Isaac Asimov, Fritz Lieber, Chuang Tzu, Michael Moorcock, H.P. Lovecraft, Wendell Berry, Charles Schulz, Edward Tufte, J.K. Rowling.

I found Meg and asked her... but dont know if she's accepted me as her friend.. (*insert frown*) haha :) I had no idea you play bass guitar-that's AWESOME! We really are the coolest kids in the dept. Just sayin. ;)
How are you? It's been a while. How's your design career going? It looks like you don't use your MySpace much....
I'm just stopping by to say hi, and to let you know that I am starting a monthly newsletter with a monthly drawing for a free CD. You just need to subscribe once, and you're in for all the months until you win. Since I just started, if you join now your odds of winning are pretty good. ;-)
I hope you come by one of these days and tell me what's going on with you. OK?
Thanks Kevin for your brilliant comment, it means a lot. You are going to LOVE the solo album when it's finished so hang in there, it's not long now matey! Justin
