I consider myself an 80s baby, so my influences begin in that decade; Hall & Oates, Tears for Fears, Pet shop Boys, etc... Once I started playing the guitar, I fell even more in love with the Alternative and Rock-like genres, namely: John Mayer, The Goo Goo Dolls, the Gin Blossoms, Vanessa Carlton, Michelle Branch, Jack Johnson, Ben Lee, David Gray, Green Day, Jason Mraz, Matchbox Twenty, The Killers, Natalie Imbruglia...to name a few of the more popular ones, but my library's expanding hourly.
Being Black, I'm predisposed to digging vintage Motown :D
while having roots in the Caribbean: Trinidad & Tobago,(by the slight of my mother's hand) Soca ,Calypso, and old Reggae run through my veins.
Last, but not least, having originated from the New York area, real hip hop ("real" being the operative word here) has become, and probably will always be, a part of me in the likeness of the true hip hop heads such as: Nas, Capone & Noreaga (more specifically, The War Report), Styles P. (The L.O.X), etc.
JIMI HENDRIX AND JOHN LENNON ARE BOTH HEROES TO ME,
Hopefully I can expose my inner Jimi one day and Rock Out!!!!
As well as continue the Lennon "Give Peace A Chance" Movement.
I am originally from Rochester, N.Y born and raised. I moved to Georgia
six years ago and have been living in Kennesaw ever since. I started playing the guitar four years ago but have always been writing and singing. However, picking up the guitar became my bridge to salvation. I've become a "crack head" for musicians of all kinds!! I still consider myself a rookie, a wanna-be rocker... so to speak.
I just want to thank all my Georgia friends for taking me in.
I truly have come a long way big ups to New York(UPSTATE BABY)

Some reviews from
episode 2
‘Good stuff-very
impressed. Has a very Kevin Smith, slightly 'Clerks' kinda feel-very good
writing. And with his mannerisms the guy in the black shirt reminds me a little
of Allen Covert from all the Adam Sandler movies.’-Travis Szudajski

Hey, sorry about the super late response. Cam is signed to Asylum records. And it DOES sound like old skool Cam'ron.
Check this song by the Smashing Pumpkins and let me know what you think of it. You probably remember the faster version called "End is the beginning" but this one is so much more powerful, in my opinion.
Carolina just told me that Liz from paychex computer room passed away this week due to having a stroke!! I can't believe that. My sis and I just lost our grandmother last weekend too. What a sad month.
