Kevin East is the unique up & coming new voice on the UK Soul music scene. His distinctive high vocal register tone blends traditional Soul elements with a refreshingly unaffected Britishness. His music mixes contemporary pop/jazz and RnB with a touch of Acoustic influences. Kevin has been working with a range of different Producers and songwriters/Musicians to help develop his original and dynamic style. While other UK singers clamour to imitate the sound of US street-core, Kevin wears his Eastend roots proud on his sleeve. His appeal ranges from cool clued up clubbers to thirty-something Album buyers. Since releasing his debut album "Kevin East" in 2003 And selling over a 1000 copies. Kevin has picked up more & more fans thank to the suport of Jazzfm/SoulCityfm/Soul24-7/solaradio/Fusionfm/kissfm and many more of the the local/internet station. The release of the first single Everything you do and the playing of the video for single on MTV base, gave kevin a bigger platform to reach a wider audience. The support and reviews from magazines such as Blues&Soul/ Echos /Muzic mag made people stop and listen To this new fresh and pleasant voice which is Kevin East. Kevin is currently working on his follow up album called "From Cover 2 New. The first single release Butterfly is picking up great reviews and airplay on Jazzfm/Kissfm.Showing old and new fans just why this man is destined for a bigger and brighter future!
