Kevin became a regular at New York City's Fast Folk Cafe, McGovern's Bar, and the Wetlands Eco-Saloon. Kevin then moved his act to the Jersey Shore, particularly Asbury Park and Long Branch, where he has opened for the Derek Trucks Band, Dan Bern, Marah, Po' Girl, The Be Good Tonyas, Luther Wright and The Wrongs, David Peel, Danny Barnes, Fred Eaglesmith, Stacey Earle, and WellBaby. Kevin Performs solo, or with his brother Scott, guitarist extraordinaire Rob Mondell, Barbara Hawkins, Chris McNaughton, Steve Palmer, and John Proveaux as The Hinninger Coalition (THC).
