About me: I am a 35 year old bass guitarist, currently living in Birmingham.
I have been playing since I was 12 years old, and have experience in playing most styles of music.
I have recently studied with solo bass guitarist, and looping genius Steve Lawson.
My long term teacher for over 15 years is Terry Gregory, who is a long term member of British jazz guitarist Martin Taylors band, and is also head of bass studies at ICMP in Kilburn London.
I have many influences, if you check out my 'heroes' section below, you'll see some of them.
I play 6 string Sei basses, and use Epifani amplification.
Here are a couple of bands that I am currently playing with.
Pete Wiseman - Warwick based multi instrumentalist.
The SOJ quartet - A Birmingham based Jazz/Funk band.
I'm available for session work, depping, and lessons.
