That Tom Hambridge song is fitting of my mood now, I’m on a path to re-discovery. I use to be cocky, always being called a Rock Star, and signing autographs so I could “eat my meals for free”; of course I’d order the "quesadilla...uh huh", lol, back then I could back it up. Something happened; I loved the guy I was last year; hell, the last 10 years. Life just started getting interesting when I hit 40. So why the rewind? I’ve gotta find that inner Rock Star again and stop catering to the professional and personal dramas of the last couple years.
If you’ve been here before, I listed some long monologue that seem to list every accomplishment I’ve recently done; this was more my “professional website” then my “space.” I think that’s best reserved for my actual kevinjstone.com. But, if the interest strikes you, I have a high degree of Googlability with: ‘kevin stone archery’.
So who am I? I’m youthful below my years, instinctively flirtatious, a collegiate trickster, live music maniac, and believe in cultural bunji-jumping every chance I get. I believe life should be a reenactment of the Chicago parade scene in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off…like every day! I live in tolerance, rejecting local judgmental-moralities and substituting them for something much kinder and encompassing. I dig the Smokys, my 3 acres of Cedar ridgeline, and nightly bonfires with potent slushy glasses of inebriated goodness with one of my guitars close by. Still the athlete, I keep in shape, but believe in wellness over muscle. I’m a spiritual seeker hoping to find the ‘truth’ before my end of days, and honestly believe that love and random acts of kindness will show us all the true path.
I invite anyone to cruise through my photo albums, videos, and blogs - they’re reflections of the real me, who I am, and where I’ve been. I’ve only been home for a few short months, having developed just a small cache of local friends by ‘association’, and am anxious to expand into my own. I want Travelers, Social Bunji-Jumpers, Live Music Maniacs, people not afraid to try something new just because it looks or smells a little scary...lol. Someone to compare passport stamps with. Anyone who's still in-debt from making thier "Big Dream" come true and has figured out how to recover from it. People that dream with thier eyes wide open and can see the world in 360 degrees. People that love eachother for thier personality even if thier of different color, race, origin, religion, or sexual preference; open-minded and liberally-conservative can be a good thing: ) Those with a Hippie's spirit, and anyone ballsy enough to dance naked around a campfire (maybe ballsy was a bad word)...you know? People who can be themselves even in public. And those who wish to grow as they grow older together.
