"All writers are vain, selfish and lazy, and at the very bottom of their motives lies a mystery. Writing a book is a long, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand." - George Orwell
About Kevin
A chronic unmixer of metaphors, with a healthy admiration for words, jokes, liquors and women. A preposterous exaggerator. A liar. A seeker of truth. A lover, at times, of various and vague everythings, among which must be included all the mysteries and curiosities of existence with power enough to enliven a tale or embolden an imagination. A storyteller. A bore. A fascinating mixture of mundanity and uniqueness. A traveler to places near and nearer, to locations real and less real, to consciousnesses both beyond and below some nonexistent plateau of awareness.
Simply put... I am me. And whatever I said above is nonsense.
Who I'd like to meet: Who I'd Like to Meet Generally I favor encounters with people who do not wish me bodily or emotional harm and do not shelter a desire to negatively affect my existence. Beyond that, I seek those who are open-minded and possess 1) a desire for knowledge, 2) curiosity (which in adults can be even more adorable and awe-inspiring than in children), 3) an interest in the universe, the world, its religions/philosophies/politics/arts/etc., and 4) any or all of the above.
Life makes us all unique. I think. If you're just like me, say hello. I'd like to study you in captivity. Thanks.
Poetstock 2009!
Never before has this been done, and hopefully it will be successfully repeated after this all over the world, again and again….
Our aim is to bring together poets from all over, who produce all
genres of poetry for a night of mingling, poetry, shameless self
promotion…. Each poet will have the poetry to read their work on
stage, sell their work to those who would like to buy, and mingle with
the best poets of our generation.
It will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 9 PM at STUDIO PARK; 1519 Carroll Dr
Atlanta, GA 30318-3605
And the owner of STUDIO PARK in Atlanta has been gracious enough to open his doors to us without charging us ANYTHING!!!
Guys, you seriously CAN’T miss this~you HAVE to be there! It is the

have what it takes or know someone who does, please email me.
****ALL are welcome! Whether you are a poet, or love poetry, we hope
you will all come, tell your friends about it, and your friends’
friends-blog it, bulletin it, email it, scream about it from the
rooftops~Whatever it takes!!!
That joke was totally funny. I don't know if I spelled it right though. Went out last night and I ended up like you did last week sans train. It was a really long walk home. Made me think of you this morning. Hope you have a good day and thanks for NOT posting a song! I would've fallen off the couch.
