The Street Life Series® is a collection of crime fiction novels written by Author Kevin M. Weeks. The first two books published in the book series are called "The Street Life Series: Is It Suicide or Murder?" and "The Street Life Series: Is It Passion or Revenge?" The third novel is complete and will be published in the Fall of 2009. This novel is titled "The Street Life Series: Is It Rags or Riches?" Readers travel across the globe with main character Teco Jackson and see how he responds as crime happens all around him.
Weeks is a receipient of the 2009 African American Pavilion at BookExpo America Urban Book Series Award. In addition, he received a 2008 London Book Festival award, 2007 New York Book Festival award, YOUnity Guild of America Best New Breakout Urban Author of 2006, and several Honorable Mentions.
Weeks is also an advocate for teenagers who "age out" of foster care. Book proceeds benefit the Stay off the Streets Fund as part of the American Endowment Foundation.
