At the age of 11 Kevin started training as a classical pianist which built the foundation to much of his music ability today. With influences such as Beethoven, Stevie Wonder, George Michael, Grasshopper, Jay Chou, Nirvana, Timberland. Linkin Park, Neptunes, Massive Attack, Radiohead, D’Angelo and Sade (to name a few), his passion for exploring different aspects of music became more than just an interest.
Currently working the DJ circuit as his alter ego DJ Phat playing a fusion of R&B/Hip Hop/House/Trance/Drum & Bass in regular events across the U.K helping to understand how music effect moods and feelings.
Through DJing Kevin meet other DJ’s and musicians a like inspiring new skills and idea eventually leading him to producing his own tracks.
Kevin felt that producing alone didn’t allow him to fully express himself the way he had hoped and in due course started creating and experimenting with melodies which some evolved into songs. Initially the songs where written for whoever but desperate to hear how it would sound when sung and with no singers available he was forced to sing them himself.
It was through the medium of song writing Kevin discovered that singing meant a lot more to him than previously thought which inspired him to continue practicing both writing and singing skills.
