I'm Kevin. I'm a 22 year old guitarist from Phoenix Arizona. I started playing guitar at 7 years old when I recieved a generic acoustic for christmas. I soon started taking lessons form G.I.T. grad Ward Aycock in music theory and technique. Over the years my playing and my influences have gone through radical phases and changes but the thing that drives me is the same, the spiritual, emotional, and visceral power of music. It makes me feel alive and when I'm onstage, feeling the energy from the crowd, it's like I'm 10 feet tall and invincible. There's no drug or any other substance like it. Musically my playing is very much rooted in the blues, but I have influences from jazz to rock to metal to pop to avant garde and just about anything else that strikes my fancy.
