Randy Travis, Yanni, Petra, Mylon Lefevre, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Matthew Ward, Brian May, Harold Argenbright, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and many more.....
I am a singer/songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland who has been writing songs since my early teen years. I have been singing and playing in church almost my entire life. I started playing guitar around the age of twelve and was heavily influenced musically by the hard rock/heavy metal scene of the early eighties. I taught myself to play by sitting and playing along with tapes and the radio. Very quickly I was playing entire albums by Stryper, BloodGood, Dokken, Skid Row, Kings X, etc...
I've always been a lover of melodic music and to me that's what the whole metal scene was about is melodic music. I must admit in the early nineties when the Grunge and Alternative groups pretty much put the metal groups out of business, I try to be open and hang in there. Bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, STP, etc... were really good early on, but sooner or later everything started sounding the same and getting old.
To make a long story short, my quest to find melodic music once again, had led me to the country music scene of the mid nineties up to the present day. I pretty much love all kinds of music and any genre, although there are some I definitely prefer than others. Vince Gill was a major musical influence and is pretty much the main reason for me even getting interested in the country sound.
Music is a major part of my life, so much, that I have my own production company (True Media Productions) where I help out other songwriters needing assistance in production, recording, writing, arranging etc... I am not only a singer/songwriter, but I am also a producer and skilled musician of several instruments. Even though music is a major part of my life, it is also just a small part if that makes sense, because I have so many other things I..m involved with.
