And to those who may feel that the dedication on my CD of the song Black Velvet Band to Caroline, who plays our Queen at MRF, is unseemly... know that it has nothing to do with her position as Queen, but as an intensely personal nod to her as my friend and my recognition of her place in my heart as the person at festival who truly made me feel like I belonged at a time when I felt so very alone after my parents' death. I love you Caroline... forever.

Hey man! So...I bitched to one of the owners of Mayfaire about you. Or rather, the lack of you. I stopped by on my way home from Detroit on the first Sunday. It was pretty weak.
Sorry to hear that Kevin...and it leaves a REAL hole in Mayfaire music-wise. Which is the main reason I attend any faire. Whatever the details, this was a big mistake on their part.
