    What's up with the song playing? You might ask -- Well, it describes me pretty well. As the words say, "When I am sitting there in my rockin' chair looking at my life. I hope to God I would have have done something good with my life. At the end of the day, I can only say that I could look back and say that I lived my life, Oh I lived my life". I could not say it any better. Every day in our lives should be cherished and shared with those we love and care about. I will do that until the day I leave this earth.

    On to the the profile >>> I love to travel. Cruising (on a cruise ship that is) is my favorite way to vacation!

    Oh Lord!! WAY to many to list here.. My all time favorite has to be The Color Purple" I also love horror movies. I tell people I don;t cause I tend to scream like a girl if I go with a group of folks.

    I really do not watch alot of TV. However, I tend to have more HDTV's in my house than anyone I know of.

  • Books

    HMMM!!! Reading is really not something I have a great love for. My mind wanders too easily and I cannot get into a book that well. I will just wait till they make that book into a movie!! LOL

    Three people!!

    First and foremost:
    My most precious mother, Faye Kimbrough She is the best mom in the world.. I grew up quite poor in rural North AL. My mom and dad divorced at an early age. I mean we were poor but we really did not know it because everyone else around us was too! But never did a night go by when she did not have food on the table and many times I remember her going without so that my brother and I could have "just a little more". She spilled out more love than my brother and I could have ever dreamed of getting from her. That is the type of lady that my mom is and she is my very best friend in this world.. I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!

    Second:
    Mr. Pete Batt I worked with THE BEST ambulance service (HEMSI) in Huntsville AL for many years and had the greatest boss that anyone could ever wish work with! Pete was a rock! He was a hard nosed retired cop that was ALWAYS serious.. But he truly believed in me!! He was more like a father to me for so many years and I loved him with all my heart.. Pete retired in the late 90's and we kept in contact after I moved here to Atlanta. Sadly, back in Dec 2005, I learned that my friend has passed away.. My heart broke that day and I did not think my tears would ever stop flowing.. Then I realized that Pete was now seeing what so many of us long to see and that is our Lord and Savior!! How can I cry knowing what he is now experiencing? Pete was a great man and I will forever remember him and never forget him.. I keep in contact with his wife now and she is such a beautiful lady. Nita, if you ever read this, darlin', you know I how much I love you.. You and Pete ARE so special to me..

    Third:
    The man himself, Ronnie Milsap. Ronnie and his music brought me through a lot of tough times as a kid growing up, my mom and dad's divorce, among other things. I felt, and still feel, a true connection to both Ronnie and his music. He made a true impact in my life! Ronnie, I have told you this before on the many times we have met, but just in case you forgot, I just want to say "what a difference you've made in MY life". Tell Joyce hello for me. God Bless You!!..

About me:

I live in the city of Alpharetta GA, which is due north of Atlanta about 10 miles. I guess you would call this "the burbs" huh?

I originally come from a small town in Northeast AL called Gurley. I love going back and visiting friends and family because it is so peaceful there and the people are just so sweet and loveable. I truly miss my little hometown

It seems I work all the time, travel constantly and I absolutely love my job! I also own and operate a small website development and design firm and that keeps me busy as well.

I love music!! Everything from Pop to Southern Gospel and especially country.. My all time favorite performer is none other than Mr. Milsap himself!! I am huge fan of his and have followed his career since the mid-seventies. He is one performer who has always remained consistent and sounds better today that he did 20 years ago.. The man is a blessing to the music industry!

My love for gospel music has been a love affair for over 15 years. I have sang with several groups over the years and I am happy to announce that as of March 1st, 2008, I will once again step foot back onto the southern gospel stage. I am in the process now of arranging music, purchasing equipment and securing agreements and personel to go back on the road. I will be going solo this time around and all of the music is going to hand picked by me and my dedicated team of individuals personally. The styles will range from southern to contemporary gospel. More to come as this story develops!

Special Tribute To Mr. Keith Karl Ketelhut

My dear friend passed away today at 9:20 pm (11/14/07).. He was the greatest guy and the bestest friend that a guy could ever ask for. He touched so many lives during his 44 years on this earth. I still find it so hard to beleive that is his really gone. Keith - I love you buddy and I am so going to miss you. However, I find peace in simply knowing that I will see you again one day. Until then, keep looking down upon us and know that we love you so so very much!!!!
