Island Recorders is all about the artist and creativity. We work with all types of artists and musical genres. We offer a very private, comfortable and creative space. We have a large rehearsal room furnished with all the necessary equipment. Including: a PA system w/ 24 track board (EV, Peavey, etc.), guitar & bass amps (Marshall, Mesa Boogie, etc.), keyboards (Kurzweil, Rhodes, etc.), drums (Ludwig, TAMA, etc.), mics, cables, stands, etc., as well as couches and chairs. The heart of our operation is our recording studio. It has 2 large live rooms and a state of the art control room, which include: a Mac G4 w/ Pro Tools w/ a huge plug-in library, a 64 track console (AMEK), monitors (Genelec, Yamaha, etc.), preamps (Neve/AMEK, John Hardy, etc.), gates (Behringer, dbx, etc.), compressors/ limiters (dbx, Behringer, etc.), reverbs (Lexicon, Yamaha, etc.), effect processors (Eventide, T.C. Electronic, etc.), samplers w/ large sample library (EMU, AKAI, etc.), drum machine/ sequencer (AKAI MPC-60), synths (Roland, Waldorf, etc.), keyboards (Moog, Roland, etc.), piano ('50's Lyon & Healy), organs (ElectroTone, Roland, etc.), mics (Rode, Shure, AKG, etc.), guitar & bass amps (Mesa Boogie, Ampeg, Marshall, etc.), guitars & basses (PRS, Fender, Gibson, etc.), DAT & ADAT machines (Alesis, Tascam, etc.), 2" analog tape machines (MCI), etc. There is also a large lounge area with couches, chairs and tables, as well as a mini bar, stereo, TV, VCR, and a microwave and soda machine.
