Kevin has contributed to the record industry in various forms personally or as an agent for music clients. Record Labels which Kevin has worked with include: LaFace Records, Wild Pitch Records, Poetic Groove records, Flavor Unit Records & Management, Shuma Management, InterScope Records, Atlantic Records, EastWest America Records, Columbia Records, Epic Records, Delicious Vinyl Records, RCA Records and Loud Records. The roster of artists that have been apart of Kevin’s involvement in entertainment managerially or thru record company representative: Outkast, Carl Thomas, RUN-DMC, Queen Latifah, P!NK, P Diddy, Goodie Mob, Toni Braxton, TLC, Youngbloodz, Donell Jones, NEXT, SWV, Redman, DAS-EFX, Naughty By Nature, LL Cool J, Xzibit, OC, N Tyce, Main Source, K Solo, Masta Ace, EPMD.
Television & Motion Picture Soundtrack Experience:
Kevin introduced the first All-Star weekend on the .. 1 rated Hip-Hop station in New York City WQHT Hot 97, Whereas the entire soundtrack*forMiramax pictures release, grossing over 150,000.000 domestically SUNSET PARK (Flavor Unit/ Elektra Records) by having the artists take the airwaves, each having their own air shift, showcasing both the soundtrack and the movie release. Kevin also worked on the Telepictures Syndicated Queen Latifah Talk Show, coordinating the street campaign for the talk show. Also Kevin was able to showcase his marketing skills on motion picture movies and soundtracks such as Sphere, Set It Off & Living Out Loud. Here Kevin came up with all street campaigns for promoting all the soundtrack and movie release with various national events.
Accomplishments & Accolades:
*Awarded numerous Platinum and Gold awards for his contribution to various artists albums & movie soundtracks, on or by the respected Record Companies or Artist Management Companies.
*Setup and coordinated the 1st Hip Hop Heatwave Mobile Van Tour for the Source Magazine in the summer of 1992, sponsored by MTV. The tour featured artists EPMD, Redman, K Solo and The Brand New Heavies. The tour helped pioneer the art of Mobile Street Van Promotion in various markets throughout the country. Kevin is now proudly heading up his own management company based in ATL.
Professional Skills:
Kevin is experienced in record set-up at radio and strategizing airplay to all formats of college radio and commercial radio (Urban, Crossover & Top 40). In addition to implementing national radio plans, his major experience is working records at the mix-show level building airplay to ensure a successful impact date at radio. Kevin has also organized marketing & street plans, which included direct marketing and internet marketing campaigns. As a Tour Manager/ Road Manager Kevin’s responsibility was to over see
