Keyhole Magazine is a literary journal published in Nashville, TN. With the great proliferation of literary journals in this country, what makes Keyhole different? Well for one, we aren't produced by some stuffy academic organization (not that there's anything wrong with stuffy academic organizations—we happen to like a bunch of them). We're just a bunch of working-class folks who have a passion for literature and the arts. We believe that many of the best artists in this country, be they writers, musicians, painters, photographers, etc, are people like us who work 9 to 5 jobs and whose art goes unnoticed and under appreciated. Keyhole aims to bring a few of these artists to the attention of our readers. While the magazine focuses primarily on short fiction, we also feature poetry, essays and other forms of non-fiction, and on our website you will find a variety of featured art—photography, music, and more.
Hey again, Keyhole. Finally have had a chance to dig into your stuff and just wanted to say that you have got yourself a fine publication. Yes, what has happened to all of the writers? Keep an eye out for us. Feel free to drop by our page whenever you like. We will be sure to do the same with yours. MuchLove, GUSSY
Thank you so much for "bandfriending" us, Keyhole Magazine! We truly appreciate it.
We hope that you find something of ours that will wriggle into your ears, burrow down next to your heart (in a good way), and compel you to ROB US BLIND (again, in a good way: "Free downloads, ahoy!”…that is, if Myspace ever gets around to reactivating that feature).
If you like us, please, tell a friend. If you hate us, hell, tell an enemy!
Hey Peter, I enjoyed talking to you last night. When you hang out with Adam later in the week, call me (Adam has my number) - I'll hang out too and bring my book to trade for one of your magazines. (usually i'm on the lower case way - i'm being festive by using caps!)

In celebration of Bloomsday today, June 16th, be sure to revisit “Potato I Have” at ELIMAE. It’s a derived text that tracks Joyce’s use of the potato - a talisman for Bloom - in Ulysses.
And, if you're in the mood for more Joycean derivations, Check out “Gate. Safe!” at Admit Two, which tracks the theme of safety and recurring gates imagery throughout Joyce's Ulysses The moment in the book that inspired me occurs in the eighth episode, Lestrygonians: “Gate. Safe!”
