Keynote Speakerz is the group-project of Dutch (Utrecht based) MC/Producers Master Surreal and Skiggy Rapz. As Keynote Speakerz they both account for 50% of the rhymes and productions as they bridge the gaps between their styles. Their aim is to create a broad range of “straight-up” Hip-hop for open-minded music listeners.
They released their first vinyl, the “It’s Like That! E.P.” (Painted Dog Records) in 2006, followed by the full-length album “Record” (Painted Dog Records) in 2007. They have released video's for the tracks "It's Like That!", "Find Myself" and "Say What!?". On March 27 they released an album with remixes of tracks from "Record", aptly titled "Remix Record"
Both artists are currently working on solo material as well as producing for other artists.

Skiggy Rapz Rapz is the winner of the 2003 Grote Prijs van Nederland (the prestigious Dutch prize for up and coming artists). His debut album “Boatdrinks” (2004) was re-released in Japan in 2006 and the “Boatdrinks vinyl E.P.” was distributed worldwide. The last years he performed all across Holland and recorded with various artists.
Master Surreal is known in the Dutch hiphop-scene as a do-it-yourself MC/Producer. In 2001 he self-released the album “Evolution (Cultivated Assault p2)”. Since then he has produced for acts like Skiggy Rapz, Tifèn, Wudstik, Diggy Dex, 207 & Per.Verz. He has performed all across The Netherlands as well as in New York (USA) and Johannesburg (SA).
Live on stage the Speakerz rock the crowd with an energetic and convincing set accompanied by their acclaimed DJ DNS (Shit Is Bangin..). They have opened shows for major artists like Kanye West, KRS-One, Mr. Lif & Akrobatik, Guru and Pete Rock & CL Smooth.
De nachtelijke gewoonte van de Dokter & de Lammoloog om in een mum van tijd een nummer uit de mouw te schudden, groeide uit tot een concept op zich. Geef De Dokter een Brabants kwartiertje en de beat is daar, geef de lammoloog het zelfde en de track is klaar. Een kort niet voorbereid nummer met alle spontaniteit van het moment is het resultaat. We schudden apen uit de mouw en drijven cats niet in het nauw!
