ADAM WHITTAKER JOINS KEYNOTE STUDIOS...
Keynote Studios are pleased to offer recording bands the oppurtunity to work with a new in-house producer. He is endorsed by Waves, Akai, Alesis and Numark.
Adam Whittaker is a British record producer and guitarist who has engineered, mixed, produced, and played on albums by bands such as Doves, Julian Cope, The Damned, The Xcerts, The Saw Doctors, The Rakes, Dogs Die in Hot Cars, Hot Club de Paris, Starsailor and Pure Reason Revolution, Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson.
He has on occasion used the pseudonym "Randy Apostle" for his work with Julian Cope, Black Sheep and Roger, the latter featuring tracks in 2008 Pathe comedy horror film The Cottage.

Keynote Studios is quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the best recording facilities in the South due to its welcoming atmosphere and quality of service. Based in Reading and surrounded by a tranquil lakeside setting, the studio benefits from a rich array of hi-tech analogue/digital equipment at the experienced hands of studio manager/engineer Umair Chaudhry (Popular Workshop, Xmas Lights, Witches, Action And Action), studio engineer Joe Lawrence and front of house engineer Jim Warren (Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, Nine Inch Nails, Duran Duran). Previous engineers we have worked with include Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild, Supergrass) and Adam Whittaker (Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Starsailor, Kate Nash, The Saw Doctors).
The studio is capable of all types of recording with control room, 3 live rooms, isolation booth, vocal booth and chill out room. The studio is well equipped and caters for a wide range of musical genres. In the past we have worked with diverse artists such as The Race with producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild, Supergrass), Chris "Jungle Drummer" with MC Stamina and DJ Fu, and celebrity Dave Courtney for voice over work on behalf of 7Thirty Entertainment. We have been featured in Future Music magazine and Drum and Bass Arena.

My motives for the story is to give people the opportunity to realise that even if they're living in rough circumstances it doesn’t mean they cant strive to make the situation positive. The idea is compiled by a lot of things I have seen over the years, it’s a story a lot of people can relate to, I’m sure of that, or else I wouldn’t write about it.
