Keynote Studios is quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the best recording facilities in the South due to its welcoming atmosphere and quality of service. Based in Reading and surrounded by a tranquil lakeside setting, the studio benefits from a rich array of hi-tech analogue/digital equipment at the experienced hands of studio manager/engineer Umair Chaudhry (Popular Workshop, Xmas Lights, Witches, Action And Action), studio engineer Joe Lawrence and front of house engineer Jim Warren (Radiohead, Peter Gabriel, Nine Inch Nails, Duran Duran). Previous engineers we have worked with include Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild, Supergrass) and Adam Whittaker (Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, Starsailor, Kate Nash, The Saw Doctors).
The studio is capable of all types of recording with control room, 3 live rooms, isolation booth, vocal booth and chill out room. The studio is well equipped and caters for a wide range of musical genres. In the past we have worked with diverse artists such as The Race with producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild, Supergrass), Chris "Jungle Drummer" with MC Stamina and DJ Fu, and celebrity Dave Courtney for voice over work on behalf of 7Thirty Entertainment. We have been featured in Future Music magazine and Drum and Bass Arena.
