About me:
Well let's see here.. First off, I'm the keyboardist / vocalist for the Seattle rock trio Stay Tuned. We perform original alternative rock interpretations of classic TV theme songs. The inspiration for the band originally stemmed from my graduation recital at Cal Arts - where we performed original jazz arrangements of TV themes. While I play jazz, I love the energy from interacting with rock / punk crowds when Stay Tuned performs - it's a much different experience from jazz which is much more thrilling but in more of a quiet explosion of passion from a more intellectually stimulating place. Christ.. I sound like a cross between some asshatted jazz historian and some gargantuan sweaty writing into Penthouse Forums. Sadly, that might be an accurate description of me. And yeah.. Sometimes I use "sweaty" as a noun. I got that from Randy's (my good friend and Stay Tuned bassist) older brother. I also stole Randy's style sheet for the page because I thought it was cool and nice to be consistent. Plus I'm lazy. So I play music real loud for fun, I do creative design goofiness for my "day job" and sometimes, when I'm not doing either, I sleep or eat burritos.
Who I'd like to meet: People who like our music would be great. I'm mainly on myspace to interact and meet with people who have been to our shows (or would like to come to our shows someday) and/or like or hate our music or like or hate what we're doing. Or like music in general. I like things and people and places and animals and even spices that are unique. This may be why I play a keytar and seldom wear pants.

Love the TV themes!!! Please throw the "Maude" theme into the mix someday. That would make you our new hero. Or perhaps it would make you the GREATEST American Hero.
