About Kezia & The Seven Year Itch

Kezia & The Seven Year Itch played their EP release gig at the new Wellington night spot Mighty Mighty on November 16th. The band and special guests played a ten song set to a capacity crowd and much adulation. The band is now planning more gigs in Wellington and a NZ tour, so watch this space. The self-titled EP is now available in stores through Border Music. *************************************************************************** Kezia Nell Hinchey has been quietly brewing on the scene since her return to Wellington 2.5 years ago, after 7 years living in London. Having spent high school years studying Music at Wellington High with the guidance of Fritz Wollner. Kezia moved to Sydney then London, to develop her sound. Working and recording with various British musicians, playing with life and styles. On return to NZ she went to Massy Conservatorium of Music for 6 months, gaining the Jazz Foundation Certificate. Since then she has been planning and writing for the release of her first EP in New Zealand. So we come to the present, all of these things have added to the slate of the Swamp Rock Voodoo Country Soul (if you like your labels), that is Kezia & The Seven Year Itch. The release pending, a date will shortly be announced for the EP release-which is set to sizzle! Stay tuned- The Seven Year Itch is Coming.

At the very least send me a link to some. I'd love to hear it. Lounge 29 and hanging with you and the girls (as well as Casper and what was our Drummer's name?) are some of the best memories of my time in London. I truly miss playing with you. Especially since we had "Yo' Life" down soooo tight! I know you think most Americans are Douche Bags (except me of course) but hopefully you'll be in the States soon and we can jam. If not, I'll have to emigrate to NZ! No nuclear energy or predators. How can you beat that? I'll try to put some of my own recent music on my page ASAP. Keep in touch.
