"Straight forward, does what it says on the tin and produces a wide variety of synth textures, pseudo-melodies and electro-percussive rhythms, all kept simple but with an atmosphere that veers from optimistic to menacing and brooding." Andy Garibaldi, 2007.
KFox is a pseudonym for Mark 'KFox' Smith, who is also a member and creative force in the alternative classic rock band The Affiliates. KFox is a side project consisting of big beat, industrial, and electronica starting in late 2006, initially as an indie rock individual using his real name before turning to electronic music at the end of that year and rebranding as 'KFox'.
The KFox experience officially made it public in 2007 and have performed in public several times. KFox has also released two CDs with another currently planned for next year. Watch this space!

The 200th concert review has just been posted on the Dead Earnest website (www.deadearnest.btinternet.co.uk/Dundee.htm). I'd just like to thank all the bands, musicians, venue owners, promotors and fans who've been so generous this last 12 months and had so many kind things to say, that, without all of you who I've seen many times to those having a bit of a hiatus, none of what I do would be possible and that, in my opinion, the Dundee Scene remains as the most accomplished, enjoyable and potentially commercial music scene in the UK right now. To all of you who I won't get to see tonight, who may read this now, who may read this nursing one helluva hangover in the morning, thanks for producing/featuring all the amazing music in 2007 and a heartfelt and seriously Happy New Year to all of you - may 2008 take you further up the ladder of success!!
