Influences
Characterized by deliberate improvisation, KGB grabs listeners by the aural pants, launching them to green-eyed soul soundscapes spackled with funk and blues. The wells of influence from which the band draws its inspiration include: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, The Violent Femmes, Frank Zappa, Stevie Wonder, Billy Preston, and Lionel Richie (to name a few). Available tracks for download currently include "Ecstasy" & "Top of the World" by bassman and vocalist Erik Friedman, and "The Well" & "Spark" written by Kevin Griffin and Mike Katzman.
