Singer-songwriter, Khamsina, is 19 year old Stevie Fitchett who writes, records and self-produces all her own work. Currently a classics undergraduate student, she lives on the Berkshire/Oxfordshire border UK.. At present, Khamsina is working towards staging Odyssey The Musical in Toronto next March 2013. Recently Khamsina has been working on a conceptual project, 'The Conductor' which will be released on iTunes on 29thFebruary 2012. It was inspired by a Gothic filmscript written by Emma Parrish. Khamsina's first self-produced album 'Dreaming Ivy' was released on December 1st 2011 and contains many of the songs she composed while still at school. Her first single, 'Bed of Roses' was released in 2010 and in 2011 Khamsina wrote .Stop. in support of the charity 'Stop The Traffik'. With collaboration from Joey TheLips, the remix version was digitally released on 7th September 2011. BBC Introducing have likened her sound to Bat for Lashes, whilst other comparisons include Dolores O'Riordan, Kate Bush and Bjork. -
