The 1ST LADY IN TECHNO MUSIC.
Along WITH OVER 300 RELEASES, OVER 300 APPEARANCES and counting, Hand bears no stopping. "Don’t think of K-HAND as just another Detroit-based PRODUCER, REMIXER OR DJ. Think of her instead as one of the city’s best, as bold as that thought may seem. An internationally recognized veteran of the legendary Techno City’s bottomless talent pool, Hand stands alongside Detroit’s elite, the sort of DJ that has devoted over a decade to working crowds into a techno- or house-fueled frenzy. Though her prolific production work often takes center stage, there’s no denying Hand’s role as a globetrotting DJ who never fails to further Detroit’s undisputed legacy. It takes years and years to acquire the sort of versatility that Hand has become known for. Whether it be a lengthy set at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival or a headlining gig at a high-profile club such as Tresor, Hand knows how to read a crowd and seduce it, one record after another until she has it at her mercy. Just as well versed in techno (via her Detroit fostering) as house (via her days in Paradise Garage-era New York), Hand offers the best of both worlds -- few DJs can weave back and forth with such precision. If her legacy as one of Detroit’s most experienced DJs wasn’t enough, Hand’s production work never fails to garner her respect and attention. She is perhaps most widely known as the brains behind the long-running Acacia label, one of the city’s most prolific labels throughout the ‘90s and into the ‘00s. In addition to her countless 12” classics on Acacia and remixes for the likes of Carl Craig, her numerous full-length albums garner critical acclaim year after year. In sum, after devoting over a decade to dance music, there is little that Hand hasn’t accomplished, explaining her in-demand status as a Producer, Remixer, and DJ."

Samuel Brunel is an upcoming artist from France who released his debut track on Autist. His new EP "Orpheo" is a peak time techno track that will rock all dancefloors! Samuel is a relatively new name on the minimal scene but certainly a name to watch in the new year…
Trained as a pianist, Samuel Brunel became quickly influenced by repetitive music, from Philip Glass to Steve Reich. He began integrating machines into his compositions, and the evocative power and energy of minimal techno fascinated him. He eventually traded his instruments for a computer, which led to various collaborations with classical musicians and filmmakers…
Everything starts with Samuel’s original approach. The track includes rolling percussions with a bassy drive and a lots of dynamic background action that makes this track a real infectious groove… For the first time, Zhao offers a decidedly techno track with a cyclical & bleep touch that will surprise many! Redj’s remix is a minimal techno track deep & dark to get cold in the back… Finally, Zecapx delivers a mental version with sliced leads, a swing bass line and deconstructed samples.
