About me:
Khantara's new line up brings the stunning richness and power of Colombian Roots mixed with Arabic and Gypsy influences.
Lead by Colombian Multi-instrumentalist and composer Anthar Kharana who has mastered different vocal techniques developing a wide range of expression sounding sometimes as mellow as a female voice but also as deep as mongolian throat singing.
Anthar's new five piece band uses Traditional Colombian sounds of Gaitas and ‘Tambores’, or drums, with Bouzouki, cajon and Traverse flute.
Enjoy the rhythms and powerful soundscapes that will transport you to a land of joy and moves but keeping a sacred connection to the ancient Colombian wisdom.

No se puede evitar el ojo aguado, escuchando la musica que nacia mientras hacia mi ritual de cocina en los dias de angel, o viendolas en mi mente como escenas de una fantasia oriental sentada en el blanco sofa... mientras les dabas vida... aun tengo esas historia en mi cabeza si algun dia imagenes las quieres volver, tengo muy buenas ideas latentes de las memorias que las melodias produjeron xx
