J Jay’s smile behind the drum kit emits his fun personality, precise timing and beats.
He has played in many Christian and Polynesian groups both locally and internationally. The most notable being the “Promise Keepers” and “Certain Soundz”, which toured Australasia.
Posenai Mavaega (Pos)>
Musical Director for Christchurch Performing Arts collective, “Pacific Underground” Pos enjoys the spontaneous and fun nature of Kharamello where he lends his talent to form the deep soul bass, alongside JJay’s all-funk rhythms and beats.
Pos’s years of experience in the music and performing arts industry, has seen him work alongside local celebrities, Scribe, Adeaze, Oscar Kightley as well as international artists such as Ben Harper, and Vika and Linda.
Anton McLean (Antzman)
Antzman began his musical career at the tender age of eleven, starting in his Uncle’s family band “Mixed Feelings”. He later became a member of the prominent Christchurch R&B cover band “Urban Affair”. A former teacher of the music creation course, Antzman brings his sweet, soulful voice and impeccable guitar playing to Kharamello.
