About me:
Hi All,
I'm a 53-year-old happily married guy who has turned an old hobby into a new business, producing scale model kits of the old bush planes that never got their due from the major manufacturers ( www.mtaonline.net/~zdk ). See my photo pages.
Long before that, there was a tour in the Coast Guard, a couple years sailing a 40 ton schooner out of San Francisco, several years as an architectural draftsman, a bit of residential carpentry, crane & backhoe operation, & 15 years repairing, designing & making gold & silver jewelry. "Jack of all trades; master of none", but that time at the jeweler's bench sure came in handy making model kits!
Somewhere along the way, I also found time to help raise 2 children, build a few simple sailboats & read a great many books.
