'KHI DARAG" , pronounced with a clearing-of-the-throat sound at the beginning, roughly translates from Armenian to mean "disgraceful scoundrel" or "person of unpredictable or outlandish nature."
We have embraced this as our namesake and our mission. Armed with modern electric as well as folk instruments we collide a wide array of influences which span from the Caucuses to the Cambodia with the sound of proto-metal and acid psychedelic rock of the west.
We just might find a way to anger or frustrate just about everyone, but hopefully we will give them music that compels them to dance while they curse our name, which by its nature is already a curse
