K. Hill exploded on the scene in 2001, fresh and ready to take the world of hip-hop by storm. His love for the art form led him to take part in ciphers, showcases, and any other medium that would allow him to express himself and display his talent to the masses. K-Hill would later leave college and return to his hometown of Wilson, North Carolina where he founded his production company, Kick-A-Verse Media Group. During the first few years, he released a compilation featuring local emcees entitled "Da Banquet Vol I. "Feast 4 Da Streetz".  The very next year, both of Hill's early, solo recordings, "Verses" and "Midgets" were premiered on WSNC by Dj Forge. Both cuts solidified Hill's reputation as a double threat as an emcee and a producer. ....

..  ..The turning point in Hill's career came in 2004. An independent record label, Neblina Records, made the decision to launch their new record label with K. Hill's track titled "Da Instigator." The record would take off and head straight to the head of the charts at number two on the National College Radio Rankings (see Da Instigator On The Charts). The accolade helped K-Hill to become recognized by various Dj's, artists, and magazines worldwide (see HipHopGame.com) (see Allhiphop.com).....

Since 2004,Hill's  body of work has included either producing for or appearing on records with established artists such as Big Daddy Kane, Nature (The Firm), Masta Ace, and others just to name a few. He sites his influence on producers Pete Rock, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Timberland, 9th Wonder,and Ski . He has worked personally along side the latter two picking up various techniques mixing them with his own to establish the Kick-A-Verse movement.....
