About Kristoffer

Kristoffer is a guy that has always had music in his head. Unfortunately, he is also a guy that is somewhat stable, letting things like a job and foolish dreams of having a happy family someday occupy too much of his time. Thus, he really doesn’t put the amount of time in actually writing, recording and learning to sing the songs that he should. Anyway, these are some demos that were recorded between 2002 to 2005 on his aging Digi001. None of these songs are fully finished, but it was decided it was time to try and get some feedback on them, bad, good, or nuetral. Maybe one day they will be finished or there will be some new ones added. Some other bands Kris has played in are The Other America and Malinche(click here)

Barbara Lee’s willingness to stand on principle earned her unsolicited international attention when she was the only member of Congress to vote against a resolution giving President George Bush virtually unlimited authority to wage war against nations he personally deemed capable of terrorism. Some praised her vote as heroic and inspirational, others called for her death. But this was not her only profile in courage. In addition to being one of Congress’ most vocal opponents to the war in Iraq, Lee has been a leader in promoting policies that foster international peace, security, and human rights. Her principled stands include disavowing the doctrine of preemptive war, offering legislation to create a cabinet level Department of Peace, and leading the bipartisan effort in Congress to end the ongoing genocide in the Darfur. Barbara Lee was first elected to represent California’s ninth Congressional District in 1998.
