I am influenced by those who continue to press forward when situations are difficult. That's not an easy thing to do. Perseverance is key!!!

I was born the seventh of eight children in Greenwood, SC. As a child, I was always rather shy and somewhat of a book-worm. During this time, I was writing very creative poetry that amused many around me. A lot of the poems were used by classmates to pick up middle-school sweethearts. Because of the fact that I really enjoyed using my expressive writings to speak for me (from time to time), I was motivated to build upon my ability to do more. I eventually translated my thoughts into musical content (writing and producing).
My first musical credits came (while living in Johnson City, TN) when I wrote songs for a Tennessee-based, contemporary gospel group called Brotherly Love. During the time of that rewarding experience, I began working on new material.
Despite a few moves over the past several years (to Rocky Mount, NC and Clarksville, TN), I continued to press forward with my writings...some of which are featured on my Compassion project. I feel that the lyrical content of Compassion will touch listeners in ways in which they are able to reflect on their own personal experiences...

Better than I is my favourite track, I love the composition. But there all good, and I'm sure people will love each for different reasons. But be true to yourself, your choices are what got you here, not ours.
