going thru a tough divorce, but trying to deal with it. 10 years gone on someone i guess i never really knew at all...
really into underground HC Punk Rock. the more-recent wave of bands like Government Warning, Wasted Time, Chronic Seizure, Sex/Vid, Cross Laws, Double Negative, Invasion, Destino Final, Giftgas Attack, and quite a few others have given me a new & refreshed faith in the scene. i also obsessively collect 1970's live recordings of Yes, Genesis, and Hawkwind & play the good sounding ones louder than God every chance i get!!
i'm pretty shy & hard to start conversations with...not that i dont want to talk to you,though...
if you really must know, ive spent the last 20+ years being involved in the international TRUE HC Punk Rock community as a drummer in more than a few bands youve probably heard of (Inmates, 9 Shocks Terror, Gordon Solie Motherfuckers, Ruiners, h100s, etc...)spreading TRUE underground PUNK (not that Hot Topic BS!! blargh)thru various mail-order distro's & years of obsessive record/tape/video trading & just general hanging out & occasionally traveling to places throughout the world to either play music, or just hang out with like-minded persons & see what life is like in their part of this crazy fukked up planet.
i also have had more than a small interest in DAIKAIJU movies (ie- Japanese & other far-east[ie-YONGARY,DYNAMAN,etc...] rubber-suit monster stuff) & have amassed a bit of a collection of these types of things,but that can only go so far as most of the stuff i like from this genre came out when i was in grade school or before; and i have really have no interest in Uber-geek stuff like books/magazines/trading cards/models. not that i havent obtained a few of these types of items over the years;i just like the movies & their b-grade entertainment value & thats about as far as it goes with me...whatever
