KickBack Customs is the collaborative efforts of Lisa Backus and Wes Harden, two local artists from the Metro-Detroit Area. Their styles are attributed to movements in Street, Pop, and Graphic art. KBCustoms is their first business endeavor and they are facing it as significant others as well as entreprenuers. They are ages 18 and 19 respectively and are pursuing carreers in the design field at Michigan State University and the College for Creative Studies.

You will find that the center focus of KickBack Customs is creating Custom Designed, Personalized, Hand-Painted Footwear. Whether it's your favorite band, cultural icon, or just your current obsession, we can design a representation that will yeild a highly fashionable pair of shoes decorated with a unique, distinct Street Graphic Art style. Simply put: Our Kicks Kick Ass.

The Purchase How You Get It
It's easy to get a pair of KickBack Customs for yourself. Here's how:
Step 1: If you would like to be considered as a serious customer, just copy and paste the order form outline from the "ORDER FORM" blog and send it to us via MySpace message (BUT NOT A COMMENT) or email it to KickBackCustoms@gmail.com. It makes no difference how specific or vague your idea is, because chances are we can put together a pretty sweet layout for you.
Step 2: Before we make a draft, you simply pay a $20 deposit before we go ahead with the process. Your deposit will go towards the final cost of the shoes. The deposit is refundable up until we actually start to make your shoes. You can either provide your own pair of new shoes (preferably ones with a large paintable area such as slip-on styles), but we can buy them for you at no extra cost. We will give you information on where to send your deposit upon request.
Step 3: When we settle on a design you're happy with, We will start on your pair and before you know it you'll be able to purchase you're finished product! (Prices will vary based on design complexity, amount of materials used, and hours required to complete the shoes.)

nope I didn't.. actualy this will be my 2nd year at ccs but my 1st year in interior design.. I was in illustration last year.. but what is that design trek thing about? sounds interesting.. do you guys have that every year?
