A bit of history…
At the age of 12 Kick Bong meets music and discovers drums and percussions. In the 90’s, he joins his first pop/rock band “Romy et les Gateaux secs” as a drummer and they soon will sign on with Barclay recording company for three LPs. He quickly learns the tricks of the trade thanks to numerous live concerts and tours in France and Belgium.
In 1995, he changes his way when discovering electro-music which will come to enrich his musical universe. Kick Bong then starts to compose in his own recently set up home-studio. As of 2001, his tracks fast catch people’s attention and 17 of his compositions are released on some compliations for several labels (Spirit Zone, Candyflip, Clima, Peak, Hoots, Cosmicleaf, Chillcode, Ajana, Hadra, Sonic Motion records et Ultra vista).
Soon after he meets the Confluent Association that is seduced by the cinematic dimension of its compositions and orders him a music between ambient, dub and jungle styles for the documentary “Démarches de rues”. He also composes some tracks for Dior and Eden Park web sites. Parallel to his activities as a musician, he mixed with Dj Holls, founder of Clima Records, in many Parisian clubs : le Batofar, le Tryptique, le Divan du monde, le Gibus, le Glaz’art… Quickly remarked for the quality of his shows, he starts from 2005 to be booked for some live gigs and dj sets in clubs and festivals all around Europe.

UN PEU D’HISTOIRE…
C’est à l’âge de 12 ans que Kick bong rencontre la musique et découvre la batterie et les percussions.Dans les années 1990, il intègre en tant que batteur son premier groupe Romy et les gâteaux secs,(pop, rock) et signe chez Barclay pour trois albums. Il apprend vite le métier grâce à de nombreux concerts,et tournées en France et en Belgique.
En 1995, changement de cap, avec la découverte des musiques électroniques qui viennent
enrichir son univers. Kick bong commence à composer dans le home studio qu’il a créé chez lui. Très vite ses titres retiennent l’attention, et dès 2001, 17 de ses compositions sortent sur les compilations de différents labels (Spirit Zone, Candyflip, Clima, Peak, Hoots, Cosmicleaf, Chillcode, Ajana, Hadra, Sonic Motion records et Ultra vista).
