Kickin' Pigeons have gone though many changes before we get to the band you see now. I wont bore you with all the changes so i will summerise the best i can.
Once apon a time, there was first a band fantasticly called "Destruction Of Sound", which consisted of two members of "The Shame", and the fantastic Booby(he was mostly there for the style and sex appeal of the band), they asked George Coffey to join to play bass. (i think this was mainly because he was the only one they new at the time who could play a guitar, so with a little help from Jon Ville they turnd him into there bassist). That band broke up to music differnces.
George Coffey who wanted to move from Hardcore Heavy Metal Rap instrumentals, and was now very strognly influenced, wanted to now produce a new kind of band. So going back to plaing guitar he decided to try and start soemthign with a few other people. Booby, Donald, and drummer George "spunky" Turle.
this band turnd into a piss about round Turles house with a couple of other people and cookin BBQ's, whilst writing lyrics like i ran over a squiral and scared your Grandma to death....... it didnt work out.
George Coffey, and George Turle then produced a band with fellow former skating buddy Joe Harris, and went through plenty of band names some being, "Up turnd Car" "Starfish Enterprise" and finally "Since Friday". they had no singer.
Along came long term School friend, Ish.
This lasted for one gig, after many dreams, down in George Coffey's garage for his birthday which the band learnt 8 songs in 2 days. the band fell apart as Ish didnt wanna come back for reasons which....
Joe Harris then left the band so ex- "since Friday" (george and george) needed a bassist. Along came Good friend and biggest fan James Hucker.
after alot of arguments about the name it filed down to KICKIN' PIGEONS.
James has now helped the band try to progress on, being a commited band member.
and thats only the begining................
our other good friend, Jack wanted to have a part in the band so he makes a grand apperance in the video for 'She's Alright'. and he helps the crowd look bigger by standing in the middle.
Chris V joined the band giving it a new OUMPH and the rest as they say is history.
