Kick Rock Music has been established since 2001 as an independent punk rock label in Japan. Many high quality punk rock bands in Japan including current Kick Rock bands, GOOD 4 NOTHING, GOLDEN GOOSE, chickenrace, for better for worse, 69BUG, SPICY SOCKS, EASY GRIP, and IFFIS have been released since then. Kick Rock MUSIC has started licensing high quality foreign artists music since 2005. We belive taht there is no boaders in music. No matter where they are from, cool music is cool music. One day we will get all mixed up and have a big party.
Hey, is Masa still doing Kick Rock? I talked to him YEARS ago about an old band of mine. Definitely check out my new project, The Fireship. We are releasing a 5 song EP in December and are looking for Japan distro. We hope to get out to Japan in mid 2010 for some shows.
alright, so people always say happy hump day for Wednesdays. I think its just as strange to say happy Uphill on Tuesdays, or happy Downhill on Thursdays, but i've never ever seen or heard anyone wish that. -Brandon
