Telling this whole story, shooting film, playing music - the Dirty South - reading books, hiding, knockin' around on the side streets, moving through the shadows, filling up note books and tapes, writing writing writing, printing pictures, amazing myself when I do, seeking out shamen who speak through 45's - records by those who are gone - piles of records, boxes of records, rooms full of them because there-in lies the truth, encoded on these little black discs -not because they are the truth (though they often are) but because they create such feelings of amazement!!! And it IS amazing, hearing truth between the scratches and scars of a world now gone - the old weird America. Some of us still live there.

Hey Bob, How have you been? It's been real busy here preparing for Corkfest and the Day of the Dead art shows and playing with numerous bands. It looks like I'm going to have a permanent position with the Memphis P-Tails. Also played great shows recently with Joe Daddy and Felix y los Gatos.
Still working on getting our P-T cruiser fixed after a fender bender a couple weeks ago. The other driver who was at fault wanted to keep the insurance companies out of it. But so far he has only come up with half the cost of the repairs.
We're very exited because my daughter Aiysha is going to come up for a visit at the end of the month.
