Kid Architect was formed in late 2008 in Northern Virginia from the remnants of dismantled local bands whose members desperately sought to find a musical home full of musicians as dedicated and inspired as themselves. What resulted was the formation of an experimental rock band named Kid Architect with members Thomas Bridgwood (piano, guitars, and vocals), Tommy Alter (drums and percussion), Mike Douaire (lead guitar), and Clint Petty (bass). While the members of Kid Architect remain friendly, playful, and often goofy at heart, their music exhibits a sonic maturity and structure well beyond the short time they have existed.
