summer with the monstrous production that is Creature of the Wheel.

Sound.

History
Kid Dub is also a child of
the world - having spent most of his childhood between Europe and Asia in such
places as Malaysia, Oman, Indonesia, Singapore & London, he started making music
when he was 14 years old, in projects as diverse as heavy metal bands to reggae
and jazz, and later on, live drum'n'bass and live techno sets. In 2001, after
moving to London
and enrolling at London’s SAE,
Kid Dub
co-formed
Logicalnoise
Records,
and it was on this label that he
released his debut EP and got his big break.
The Micro Geniuz’ EP was a quirky, bouncy
electro track that became a fast favorite with many DJs in Germany and landed a
No.1
in the best of 2004 DJ charts of Berlin’s
Groove Magazine
, attracting instant attention from many labels. This eventually led to its
re-release on Mood Music Records in 2006 with massive support from
Sasse,
Thugfucker,
Berlin Massive
Dirt Crew,
Ewan Pearson
and
DJ Naughty
.
Other projects
As well as engineering other DJs and producers Kid Dub has two other tech-house
projects - D DUB with Cozzy D and a new guise as Voltaeric - already
landing on compilations for Little Mountain Records and Natura Sonoris.
A new synth pop project
under the name of
Nuvo Rich
sees Kid Dub writing new wave French house tracks. And when not creating for the
dancefloor, he also writes cinematic, ambient glitch music as
Cuebit.
Kid Dub also recently founded ‘Word & Rhythm Magazine’, an online publication
written by producers and DJs from around the world and the world’s first online
magazine written solely by producers and DJs who are actively touring and
releasing music.
