Nebbia, neve e un tepore sottile, accennato, un invito…una finestra socchiusa da cui filtra una luce, un profumo, una voce. Delicato e tagliente, sussurrato e potente. Questo il risultato della collaborazione tra Christian Rainer e i Kiddycar, due mondi diversi ma capaci di un accordo sorprendente, due canali di un delta sfociato in un mare compatto dove sguardi, percezioni e visioni si scoprono affini, capaci di intendersi e accompagnarsi con grazia. A cavallo delle armonie, le melodie infantilmente definite “alla Kiddycar”, si sposano con la musica travolgente e magnetica di Christian Rainer, la cui voce si insegue con quella di Valentina Cidda, raccontando con disinvoltura paesaggi ora innocenti ora apocalittici. Si sta con delicata ironia sul ciglio di un abisso…lo sguardo si sposta dal baratro al cielo. Sensualità e durezza, ironia e dolcezza, incanto e disillusione per otto brani divisi tra inglese e francese. Mist, snow and a subtle warmth, a suggestion, an invitation... a half-open window, light filtering through, a perfume, a voice. Delicate and sharp, whispered and powerful. This is the result of the collaboration between Christian Rainer and Kiddycar, two different worlds but capable of a surprising union, two channels of a delta flowing into a united sea where views, perceptions and visions are found to be similar, capable of a shared understanding and a graceful partnership. Spanning harmonies, the melodies childishly defined as “kiddycar-style”, blend with Christian Rainer’s overwhelming and magnetic music, his voice followed by that of Valentina Cidda, coolly describing landscapes at times innocent, at others apocalyptic, balanced with delicate irony on the eyelash of an abyss... the focus moving from the chasm to the sky. Sensuality and toughness, irony and sweetness, enchantment and disillusionment in the course of eight tracks in English and French. A winter disc with a timeless sound.
