Kid Loose AKA Ian Lewis AKA Ian Gottlieb has been mixing in front of crowds since 1997 and even longer if you include bedroom/backroom/parents garage mixing sessions. Inspired by DJ Tosh and some random unknown guy at his first underground party, the passion of House Music hit him like a huge wad of goo, enveloping his world and changing his musical perspective forever. He made a name for himself as a resident of Feel Good Entertainment and by rocking the masses at a majority of the MANY legendary Home Base parties in Oakland. From his early rave beginings Ian soon found himself emersed in a dance culture that had him traveling up and down California and Nevada, playing parties, clubs and raves alike, with equal results in all venues. He has held residencies at some of the biggest and hottest clubs in the bay, from Ibiza in Oakland to Space 550 in SF, not to mention Promoter Residencies with Just Us Kids, Feel Good Entertainment, Abzolute, Shaolin, BR Productions and Climax Entertainment. He regularly plays as such clubs as Ruby Skye and Temple in SF and can be seen at a variety of venues in Sacramento.
Along with serving as a back up DJ for the Golden State Warriors in 2007, Kid Loose can be heard daily (M-F) @ 3PM - P.S.T on Energy 92.7 FM in San Francisco as well as Friday Nights @ Midnight, for his 1-hour mixshow. His debut digital mix compilation with Ultra records titled "I'm a Looser" is out now and available on iTunes and beatport.com.
