About me:
Kids For World Peace was started in April, 2006, by a group of students of various religions, attending a Quaker school in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. KFWP's mission is to promote world peace and to help give everyone equal rights. KFWP plans to achieve this misson by protesting nonviolently around the Bucks County area.

10/02/2009: so this new job, that solicits donations, is getting harder and harder to cope with. I talk to people everyday and try to solicit donations from them for causes that mean so much... like aid for volunteer firefighters and families of police officers that were killed in the line of duty.... cancer and aids victims..
yesterday I did one on homeless veterans...there are 1/4 of a million veterans that will be on the STREET TONIGHT.... with no food or place to lay their heads...how sad is that?? asking people to donate a minimum of $10!! $10... and they don't have it?? how dare they I think..you don't have $10 to help?? but some of the people I talk to are even worse off or just as...they tell me they've lost their jobs and have no money..$10 can put a plate of food on their table for the night...some are old and senile...some can hardly talk or have just lost loved one themselves to cancer or war or. And the worst part..is that I am told and given instructions on a rebuttal to their denial of...and expected to do so...or I can be fired. So some say "I can't afford it this time"
"well how about $25 or $15 mrs so and so..." "no I can't...really" "well how about I put you down for the minimum of $10 mrs...please for the..." 'I said no sir, I can't afford it my husband and I are both out of work and .........."
and there are ways...that they show you how get them to donate by making them feel bad or sweet talking them...etc... and my mind starts to wander and I think...how miserable of an existence this really is..that I have to beg for money from people that don't have it and are in need themselves, to help people in need...
while I myself am working on a minimum salary and can hardly make it myself...I can't live of $8 an hour... an apartment..car..insurance..food..all cost way beyond that..way..how do people do it??? I was homeless for a while and living on the street..or out of a car...now by the generous help of my family, I'm at least just barely making it....but for how long?
how miserable is this existence really..then I think...my god...veterans are homeless...volunteer firefighters are dead with nothing for their families...people are dieing of cancer and aids that have no insurance and no way to get real medical attention or help....how....and these organizations are sometimes run by people that really do make money from all this..profit from non-profit...how can GOD allow this for much longer...how....
how can U say that RAPE would be eliminated if MONEY was eliminated? That's a false statement. What does MONEY have to do with RAPE? ==========--+--============ If there was NO MONEY and we did NOT CHARGE EACH OTHER TO LIVE...and we didn't teach our children that MONEY was more important then HUMAN LIFE..which we DO...we would not be wasting all that TIME on protecting and earning and spending and hoarding and using and killing and insuring and everything else in THIS EXISTENCE that we DO for MONEY...PLENTY OF TIME WASTED..the MAJORITY OF THE DAY is SPENT on MONEY....MONEY..paying BILLS...PUTTING AWAY...SAVING..etc...MONEY...MONEY..MONEY..EVERYTHING IN THIS EXISTENCE IS IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER....DONE FOR money...IF WE DIDN'T WASTE ALL THAT precious time we have on earth protecting SATAN'S GIFT TO HUMANITY = MONEY..
then we could focus on the IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE...like TEACHING EACH OTHER HOW TO RESPECT EACH OTHER....not trying to then RAPING EACH OTHER FOR MONEY. The EVOLUTIONARY PROCESS WOULD BE, AND WOULD HAVE BEEN, ACCELERATED TO THE POINT WHERE we would no longer disrespect each other...BY NOW...which includes RAPING EACH OTHER!!! I HAVE BEEN YELLED AT..HUNG UP ON, CURSED AT AND have heard every story in the book about how the people on the other end of the line just don't have it this year to give...because of the economy or their particular situation..loss of their jobs or having family that fell ill of they themselves undergoing a stroke or seizure or cancer...etc...and just not being able to give this year...barely making enough to survive....I feel for them too...very bad..and know how they feel...very much....cause I'm in the same boat. But at least at this job, I don't feel the way I did working for the last greedy money hungry accounting firm..and their partners and CEO's making millions in bonuses...for showing other companies how to hide their avoid paying taxes...I was making 4 times the amount working their...and hated it much more. This was my 3rd day at this job...
9/27/2009: so I just started a new job for a company that solicits donations by phone for various charities and non-profit organizations. Like aid for volunteer firefighters and families of police officers that were killed in the line of duty....cancer and aids victims. I hate having to beg people for money, but it seems that it was the only job that would hire what I am now considered...someone with a criminal record...(for my arrests in Asbury Park for 1/2 a joint of weed and 5 times in Florida for protesting the war..). so here I am getting $8 an hour begging for money....
So I call this one guy today and he starts yelling at me about not bothering him on HIS JEWISH HOLIDAY...Yom Kippur.."YOU KNOW, I DON'T APPRECIATE BEING BOTHERED ON MY HOLIDAY....YOM KIPPUR"..so he asked my what my name was, trying to find out if I was Jewish (I am not)..I tell him my name and he again yells at me...

so I apologize, but repeat that 114 firefighters were killed last year in the line of duty and they risked their lives to save us. So a $10 donation would be respectful to them and would be very much appreciated. He again said to me "well I understand but I dont appreciate BEING BOTHERED FOR MONEY ON A HOLY DAY. So the last time I was in Jamaica, someone told me the history of Marijuana in Jamaica...and how it got there. It seems that Marijuana is not a native plant of the Island. It was brought over by the British Imperialist (that conquered Jamaica from the Spanish) in the 1650's, who established large and lucrative sugar plantations. Marijuana was brought from over India, where the British Imperialists would give it to the Indian slaves. It made them work better, so they thought bringing it over to Jamaica and giving it the African slaves that worked the lucrative sugar plantations would be a good idea. If it made the INDIAN SLAVES better workers, then it would do the same for AFRICAN SLAVES. They thought..so they brought it over and gave it to them. But instead of working-slaving better, they started realizing who and what they were. Slaves. And wit the help of JAH, it gave them the strength and helped them to fight against their oppressors..slave masters, and run to the hills for freedom. Which is why the Ganja plant is so sacred to THEM. They grew their hair into dread-locks to signify their freedom and made this holy plant part of their ritual practice
