My son, Ian, was diagnosed with a stage 3, Favorable Histology, Wilms Tumor on July 19, 2005. On July 20, 2005 our wonderful surgeon successfully removed the tumor, Ian's left kidney, a portion of the renal vein, some lymph nodes and a piece of back muscle. ian then underwent 6 rounds of radiation and approx. 6 months of chemotherapy. He has been off treatment since January 18, 2006 and is doing well. This MySpace was founded to help connect those affected by childhood cancer and those that care about finding a cure! These are children that have cancer. One of the little boys in the very beginning (one of the 4 in OU jersey's) is one of Ian's friends from the clinic.
