Magazine reviewing debut EP) .... .. .. .. ..Kids Never Lie.., active since early 2008, is an indie-electropop band from Goes, Holland. The band consists of three motivated musicians who want to create unique and energetic music. Kids Never Lie is experimenting more and more with synthesizers, samples and mind-blowing effects, not only influenced by today’s French and German DJ scene but also by older musical innovators like Kraftwerk and New Order. In their hometown, Kids Never Lie is already well-known and has received much positive feedback. For instance, the band was named “The next generation Kraftwerk”.“They impressed the jury with their innovative show of dance, techno and eighties pop”. .... In 2009, Kids Never Lie participated in the Dutch band coaching project Popsport and got trough to the national final. With the help of Popsport, the band has recorded its first demo in a professional studio, now online on myspace and soon on cd. Also, with the help of Popsport workshops, the band has significantly improved aspects often neglected by most beginning bands like image, media promotion and management. In the same year, Kids Never Lie has won the band competition Hooi!koorts, out of 25 participating bands! .... In April 2010, Kids Never Lie released its debut EP "1618" and received many positive responses. As a crowning achievement, it was named "Demo of the month" in September 2010, by Fret Magazine, one of the largest Dutch music magazines. .... After having done many shows in and around their hometown, Kids Never Lie is now ready to explore the rest of Holland.
