BooksAny of the KWARL books.

KWARL Book 1 is about The Bluffside Summer Solstice County Fair.

(From the back of Book 1, Volume 1)

"The annual county fair. The one time every year that residents of Bluffside come together in holy matrimony to celebrate the creation of fairs.

Unexpectedly, three girls showed up at my door and convinced me to attend the fair, because the mayor of Bluffside had taken away their titles of former-Miss Summer Solstices. They were also kind enough to provide me with a shiny new rocket launcher, so how could I say no?

So with my sidekick Albert, we set out on a grand adventure to this beloved county fair to see what I could to do make the three no-longer-Miss Summer Solstices once again official-former-Miss Summer Solstices.

The county fair would never be the same again. At least, not until next year."

KWARL Book 2 is about The Six Weddings of Vincent Frye.

(From the back of Book 2, Volume 1)

"I had been under the impression that marriage was something two people agreed to do, like going to a movie or getting a haircut. I had no idea that only one side could declare a marriage and it would be legally binding!

I had seen weddings on television before. They seemed like fancy birthday parties for two people at at time. Presents and cake were involved too, so I wasn't sure why people didn't have weddings more often. Little did I know, weddings weren't exactly what I thought they were.

Somehow, I had gotten myself into a 'situation' that had one 'girl' wanting to 'marry' me. I didn't really mind, until there was another 'girl'. And then another..."

About me:
For centuries, knights have stood as models of excellence and valor, laying down their lives for what they believe in. Vincent Frye is out to uphold that tradition, with a subtle nudge from his rocket launcher.

You can view the glorious Chapter 1 of KWARL Book 1 "The Bluffside Summer Solstice County Fair" in the blog above. Go check out the wordiness!

Who I'd like to meet:
People who may not consider themselves "book people," but who just might take a chance and pick up a copy of one of the Kid with a Rocket Launcher books. Guaranteed to be the only book series that features a kid running around with a rocket launcher.

I'm kicking myself for not watching Fuzz of War sooner.  This slayed me!  Particularly the towelpocalypse.  My son was laughing so hard he wasn't even making any sound.

Hehe..no problem! I had/have Crow post-its. I also have MST3K Poopie (a tape of their out-takes). Funny stuff! But yeah, I actually just read your first chapter and found it very wity and laughed out loud several times (I'm at work...it was awkward...), and have already read part of it to a friend who enjoys that kind of humor. He expressed a lot of interest in it as well, and may be picking up a copy too.

I'm currently reading Atlas Shrugged, and plan on reading The Fountainhead, and the last Harry Potter book before I start another...but I think your book might be replacing The Fountainhead in my reading order. =)

Ha! Thank you! I heard about the book through a press release (I work in TV), from some group that is trying to get your book pulled from store shelves. I think its obscene that they would do that. The press release stated that even the title of the book was offensive...because it involved kids with deadly weapons...*rolls eyes*

Anyway, I hope that this book becomes a top seller, and will now be purchasing a copy JUST because of that press release. Censorship is wrong. See you in the top sellers list!

Totally agree that all books are kin. On Playing Nice, though, my heroine is playing nice; it's everyone else you have to watch out for ;-)
