King kietu è attivo come dub producer dal 1999 anno in cui assieme al singer sardo Dr Boost si trasferisce in un piccolo paese della baronia in Sardegna per approfondire le tradizioni e la cultura della propria terra.
Un pentium 2 e moltissimo tempo a disposizione per appassionarsi alle tecniche di produzione della dub musik. Esce il primo demo cd con il progetto Tostoine, che caratterizza da subito un certo stile agropastorale che rimane il marchio inconfondibile per tutte le sue produzioni future.
Inizia un tour in tutta la Sardegna tra sagre di paese e feste di piazza anticipando nella sua terra le prime forme di dj set e sound system.
Il progetto Tostoine continua fino al 2005 anni in cui, oltre all 'uscita dell’album “tostoine”, l’attività dal vivo si fa sempre più intensa in Sardegna, in Italia e all’estero.
Trasferitosi a Roma per un anno dedica la sua vita allo studio della antropologia e della musicologia.
Tornato in Sardegna costruisce il proprio studio_ Big island studio_ il quale diventa il quartier generale delle produzioni reggae e dub made in sardinia.
Inizia un nuovo progetto con il dub producer sensitive dub_ sardinia bass legalize_ progetto riconosciuto in ambito internazionale grazie alla fiducia e alla promozione della (net)label AquietBump per la quale escono due ep: SBL EP e vision of my land.
Fonda assieme a Dr Boost e il Big Island sound l’etichetta Big Island Family, la quale ha all’attivo diverse produzioni, tra cui “sa gana riddim” che vede la partecipazione di dr boost, shakaroot e rootsman i e “ganja nostrana”di dr boost divenute dance hall hit a livello europeo.
Contemporaneamente inizia una fruttuosa collaborazione con il singer Dan I e per la sua etichetta Imperial Roots, portando avanti numerose stampe in vinile con importanti riconoscimenti a livello internazionale grazie alla distribuzione di dubwise ed Ernie B.
Tra queste ricordiamo “wailin’”, “pope”, “creation” e “jah love”, quest'ultima uscita per la label siciliana ghetto city production.
Il 2009 inizia con l’uscita di due importanti album: “Dan I & King Kietu_Rastafari judgement fire”e “Sardinian Warriors di Dr Boost”, e nel maggio del 2009 "Prisoner in babylon di ShakaRoot", le ultime tre fatiche del produttore sardo sempre marchiate Big Island Studio.
Subito dopo l’uscita dell’album "Rastafari Judgment fire", parte nel marzo del 2009, il tour europeo “Rastafari judgment fire tour 09” facendo tappa in Italia, Francia e Germania.
Musicista a 360 gradi, suona chitarra, basso, tastiera, ha calcato le line up italiane ed europee insieme ad artisti del calibro di mad professor, zion train, moa ambessa, , macka B, Dan I, Vibronics, aba shanti I.
Riconosciuto come uno dei migliori dub producer in Italia.

King kietu is active as dub producer from the 1999 year in which together to singer the Sardinian Dr Boost it is moved in a small country of the barony in Sardinia in order to deepen the traditions and the culture of own earth.
Founder together with Dr Boost of the first Sardinian dub project , called Tostoine, continues abroad till the 2005 years in which, beyond the escape of the release “tostoine”, the activity from the live shows one is made more and more intense in Sardinia, and in Italy .Returned in Sardinia after a period of life in Rome, it constructs Big Island Studio which becomes the head quartier of the reggae and dub productions made in sardinia. It begins a new plan with dub producer sensitive dub (sardinia bass legalize) the plan recognized in international within thanks to the confidence and the promotion of (net) label the AquietBump for which two ep exits: SBL EP and vision of my land. I together found to Dr Boost and the Big Island sound the label Big Island Family, which has to release various productions, between which it knows "sa gana riddim” that it sees the participation of dr boost, shakaroot and rootsman and “ganja nostrana” of dr boost become dance hall hit to European level.
At the same time it begins a fruitful collaboration with singer the Dan I and for its label Imperial Roots, carrying ahead numerous press in vinyl with important acknowledgments to international level thanks to the distribution of dubwise and Hernies B.
