Bio
Kiiroy was born in Germany in the summer of 1982. He first started to interrest himself in electronic music at the age of 15 when he saw several dj's on tv, working on their decks at the Mayday Dance Event. With the eyes of a young boy he noticed the spirit of the music and the huge crowd. From that moment he began buying vinyls, saving money to buy his first dj equipment to be able to do what he wanted, to become a dj. Since then much time has passed and he's getting even more in to what's behind the kind of music he loves. 2005 he bought his own studio and started to produce his own music. Since 2010 he is member of the klangkunst family and resident dj in the upcoming Opium Club Essen. -

Awesome four track EP from up and coming producers Kiiroy and Chris Hauer. The Leichtsinn EP kicks of with Hauer's "Pronto 1 0" and "Pronto "1 1," the former being a thunderous half step effort in the vein of Female's edit of "Haiku" on Sandwell District and the latter being a graduate of the Jeff Mills Tresor era school of techno. Kiiroy's "Holy Axt" has a tough rolling bassline and shuffling percussion, while the swirling synths and mechanical drive on "Lumberjack" showcase the young German's ability to make techno that is at once stripped back and raw yet also inherently groovy.
